Description
As more and more Operational Technology (OT) devices are integrated and interconnected with enterprise IT systems for improved operational efficiency, the risk of cyberattack increases. Cyber attackers have a keen interest in targeting critical infrastructure because of the potential for monetary gain from ransomware attacks. Critical infrastructure includes electricity generation and distribution, water treatment and delivery, oil and gas production and other essential services, the disruption of which could cause catastrophic results. This week, Realcomm Live welcomes Marty Edwards, vice president of OT security at Tenable, a cyber exposure company that helps more than 30,000 organizations around the world understand and reduce cybersecurity risk. Marty was formerly the longest-serving director of the U.S. government’s Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS‐CERT). He will share his thoughts and insight on this important and extremely critical topic.
